Is Green for Real in China?
An open forum to switch ideas and find insights into consumer purchasing behavior in China
The driver....
This forum is being driven by the 'Consumer Insight Focus Group,'a core group of members who are interested in creating an interactive, informative and inspiring event that is not a lecture hall, or a place where you find ppts or involves a sales pitch. The group includes: Penny Burgess, General Manager, Ketchum Newscan Public Relations; Lynette Lu, PR and Marketing Supervisor, Virgin Atlantic Airways; Crystal Qian, Head of Marketing, Consumer Banking, Standard Charted Bank; Amena Schlaikjer, Dara MacCaba, Christopher Ruane, ?What If! and Byron Constable, President, Wanmo.
The format and themes....
The forum will be facilitated by one of these members and will be comprised of 20 senior executives and marketeers. Participants will be expected to both contribute to and draw from its collective value by offering their own experiences, heard stories, new ideas and potential solutions. Each meeting will have a theme such as; Luxury, Green Living, Healthcare, Media, Education etc., which will be set at the previous meeting. Attendees will submit an insight, issue, challenge, problem, project idea etc relating to the theme 3 days before the meeting. The event series will take place on the second Tuesday of every Month. The next session will be held on 8 July with a discussion theme: Is Green for Real in China?
