AmCham Shanghai’s Human Resources Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the latest Human Resources Manager stream event focusing on Employer Branding and Attraction. Held in Mandarin Chinese, the program will focus on the challenges and benefits of developing a robust employer brand in today’s labor market. It will provide attendees with up-to-the-minute best practices in this evolving area of recruitment, branding and human capital. Strong employer brands have employer value propositions (EVPs) which are communicated in company actions and behaviors and evoke both emotive and tangible benefits for current and prospective employees. A company’s employer brand is reflected in the actions and behaviors of leaders and is affected by company policies, procedures, recruiting and practices. Shou Xiaoying, head of research for Oxus Solutions, will provide an overview of employer branding strategies and how they can be used to recruit, motivate and retain employees. A market leader in employment branding in China, Oxus was founded by members of the original Zhaopin.com management team in partnership with the Bernard Hodes Group, one of the world's leading recruitment marketing companies. Oxus works with some of the world's most forward thinking companies, including Intel, McDonald's, Caterpillar and Microsoft. Following her presentation, Shou will be joined by a panel of HR practitioners and branding experts to answer questions from the audience. We hope you can join us for what promises to be an educational event on a timely HR topic. This event marks the second in the Human Resources Committee’s new stream of programming designed for the needs and interests of HR Managers and Supervisors.
