Shanghai Networking News: Saving you Time and Effort In Networking

Shanghai Networking News kicked off because we were sick of having to visit so many darn websites to get our fix of networking events. Now, instead of you having to read through dozens of websites and magazines, you can get the latest on networking in Shanghai in one place: here.

FAQ

So, which events do you organise?

We don't. It seems like everyone and their dog organises events in Shanghai, and to be honest we're much happier doing the actual networking than having to worry about whether the microphone is working and if there's enough grog to go around.

I have a really cool website! Can I do a link exchange with you?

Maybe. Or maybe not. If it's relevant, then we'll add a link. If it's not relevant then we'll give it a miss.

Can you tell me more about xyz event?

Everything we know (or don't know) about an event is included on the event page. Contact the organiser, not us.

Can I come and work for you?

Since our last three interns ran screaming for the hills, we're not really looking for employees at the moment. We're working on toning our overall scariness factor first. That, and we're cheap. If you're interested in working for something other than money, like fame, glamour and just plain being a nice person then feel free to contribute.

Just who are guys anyway?

More profiles of our motley crew of swashbuckling networkers will be up soon. For now, here's the boss's:

Alex Cureton-Griffiths

Founder

A half-British, half-New Zealand, half-bad-at-maths corporate trainer turned entrepreneur, Alex is experienced in teaching customer service, hospitality and cultural integration skills to Chinese employees of multinational companies. He's also well-known for his ridiculously long surname and generally being a funny guy. (Funny ha-ha, not funny peculiar).

He's been in China for over four years, and Shanghai for about two and a half.

More information can be found on his LinkedIn profile
